Date palm tree leaves and resin, 120 x 120 x 100 cm

This project was to explore the date palm trees and their relationship with the Qatari heritage and culture. Date palm trees are considered a mark of time, a tree that can withstand any hardship, similar to the Qatari culture. The Qatari community kept the culture alive and eternal in the younger generation’s minds with sharing stories and experiences with them. This project looked into illustrating the strength of the Qatari community and culture using palm tree leaves.
